About this Project:
In my project Cybershot, I worked with three different Sony Cyber-shot digital cameras produced between 2003 and 2006, which I purchased online and at flea markets. The nostalgic atmosphere of the images inspired this photo series and motivated me to explore and creatively engage with early digital camera technology.
Over a period of roughly two years, I carried the cameras with me and captured spontaneous snapshots focused on nightlife, culture, and travel. All photographs were post-processed to emphasize the distinctive qualities and imperfect visual language of early digital photography.
